Dr. A.S Chawla is Registrar of Punjabi University, Patiala from 13^th May 2011. He was Dean, College Development Council, Punjabi University, Patiala from 3^rd May 2010 to 13^th May 2011. He is also the Professor, School of Management Studies at Punjabi University, Patiala. Professor Chawla has been in the teaching profession for last 31 years. During this period he also worked for one and half years as Financial Advisor in Kenyan conglomerate and three and half years as Professor and Dean Business Faculty at KIST Kigali, Rwanda. He has been associated with Harvard Business School (USA) for Executive Education and coordinated the Program on Making Markets Work in East and South African region. He has been associated with Harvard Business School and participated in CPCL at Harvard Business School. He has also been involved with Wilkes University and Kutztown university for various collaborative activities.
