Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Library, Punjabi University, Patiala
     The University Library, named as Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Library, housed in a spacious modern and Air-Conditioned, Wi-Fi enabled building stocks more than 5,20,000 volumes and subscribes to more than three hundred and fifty journals. Latest books are added regularly every year. The library is kept open for 360 days of the year from 8.15 a.m. to 8.15 p.m. every day. The library has a majestic reading hall, which has a capacity for more than 500 readers where they can sit and consult reference books and other relevant literature. A separate Night Reading Hall is available for readers 365x24x7 with facilities of A.C., Bathroom and Wi-Fi. The library is actively participating in the INFLIBNET programme. It caters to the requirements of all the teaching and research departments.

Dr. Ganda Singh Punjabi Reference Library: A new specialized wing called the Punjabi Reference Library has been added in the recent past. The aim of this library is to build up a strong collection on Punjab History, Culture, Sikhism, Punjabi Language and
Literature. The rich collection of this library comprises of more than 1.5 lakh documents. About 125 important daily, weekly, newspapers and periodicals published anywhere in the world are received regularly in this library. Nearly 70,000 documents have been collected from eminent historians and literatures. These contain newspapers, magazines, books, diaries and manuscripts pertaining to the 19th and 20th century. These documents contain mines of information, which is of immense value to the scholars.

  1. Punjabi University Extension Library, S.A.S. Nagar-Mohali
  2. Punjabi University Extension Library, Mohali came into existence in 1996 with the joint efforts of PUDA and Punjabi University, Patiala. This library was established to serve the local masses of Mohali. At present, it is a public as well as academic library. This library caters to the needs of the students as well as faculty members of Punjabi University Regional Centre for Information Technology and Management (PURCITM), Mohali along with local people. This library subscribes 20 newspapers, 30 magazines and 8 management periodicals. It has total collection of 18453 books on varied subjects and has a special collection on religion, management and computers. It has very dedicated and cooperative staff who are always ready to provide services like circulation services, reference services (including CAS and SDI). It provides occasionally translation service for public. A separate section for children is provided in this library. This library is a boon for public as well as academicians. The rich collection of this library helps in the research work, entertainment, general awareness of its users.
  3. Dr. Balbir Singh Sahitya Academy, Dehradun (Uttaranchal)
  4. The library of Dr. Balbir Singh Sahitya Kendra, Dehradun, contains valuable collection of manuscripts, rare books, dairies, tracts and memoirs. This collection is very versatile and scholarly.
