NOTE:
We are using embedded fonts (or dynamic fonts) technology to display characters on our Website. This technology is available with the following web browsers:
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 5 or Higher(Download here)
  • Netscape Communicator 4.75 to 4.79 (Netscape6.0 or higher do not support Dynamic Fonts)
  • For Internet Explorer users please note that if you are using the Dynamic fonts first time, you will be prompted to install the Web font player. This is done by clicking on the YES option when prompted.

If however you experience any difficulties in displaying or printing the embedded fonts, please download and install the following Punjabi font(s) on your computer.

You will have normally no problem in viewing our pages once the font (DRChatrikWeb.TTF) is installed properly.

 
 
Downloading and Installing Punjabi Fonts on Your Computer
Step 1. To download the Punjabi Font (DRChatrikWeb.TTF).Click or Right Click here
Step 2.
  • On Click
    A Window Opens asking for "Open it from Current Location" or "Save to Disk" - Choose "Save to Disk" and press OK.
    OR
  • On Right Click
    A menu Opens, select "Save Target As.."
Step 3. Choose a location to save the file (DRChatrikWeb .TTF). And remember that.
Step 4. After the files get fully downloaded and extracted,
Go to  CONTROL PANEL>>FONTS
Step 5. Click on FILE>>INSTALL NEW FONT.
Step 6. Choose the location of the font file (DRChatrikWeb .TTF) where you stored it during download.

The font will now appear in the "List of Fonts"

Step 7. Select the Font DRChatrikWeb and press OK.
Step 8. Your Font File (DRChatrikWeb .TTF) has been installed now.


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Q: I downloaded the font but still do not see the Punjabi text.
Ans: You may have to remove your System Cache and Internet files, Cookies etc.
  • Follow these simple steps:
    1. On your Internet Explorer, go to Tools>>Internet Options
    2. Under Temporary Internet Files, Click on "Delete Cookies".
    3. Once that is complete click on "Delete Files"
    4. After this, click on "Clear History"
    5. Press OK.
